A delay, a brief respite, and some things to come

We suffered a big delay with the production and delivery of our July 3rd edition. I already issued an apology in the July 10 edition, so I won’t mention it a third time, but again, apologies for that.

We’ve been extremely busy this summer, and basically, any tiny thing going wrong can easily upset the entire operation.

LMT will continue to operate and publish news online, and in our email; however, we won’t be producing a print edition for the weeks of July 24, July 31 or August 7. Our weekly email will include timely local notices, as usual.

We will also be spending this time contacting sponsors for the Grad editions. Last year we had an underwhelming response to this edition, and we’re hoping attitudes will be different this year. These special editions are to showcase the Grads AFTER they have accomplished this milestone; its purpose isn’t to “promote” upcoming graduation. We are again looking for additional writers and photographers for under-served parts of our area. If you or someone you know is interested in submitting stories and photos to us, again, see page two. Happy summer.
