These products are designed to “improve our quality of life” and come in alluring colors, design, and with appealing warranty. Some of them sound almost “too good to be true,” which is often the case; however, every once in a while a product shows up that even exceeds its hype.
Recently this happened to me! Out shopping one day, I stumbled upon a product that had eluded me for years. Windex manufactured it. It was a glass cleaner that promoted a “streak free finish” on windows, windshields & a host of other surfaces. The price was very reasonable. I bought a package of three and hurried home to try it out. To my amazement, this product exceeded my expectations. My wife and I cleaned our picture window inside and out, and we couldn’t find a single streak after application. The window was so clean it made you think twice to see if the glass was actually there. What an excellent product!! As I pondered this amazing product consumers have sought after for years, I was reminded of a product that mankind has sought and desired over the years to clear away the “streaks of sin” that encompass us all. Throughout human history, mankind has had trouble with this problem and throughout history, God has always provided a product that totally cleans and restores. The Bible tells us that “without the shedding of blood, there is NO remission of these sin-streaks that we carry.” Over 2000 years ago, however, a Saviour died to provide this cleansing agent for us. “If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive our sins, and to cleanse or to keep on cleansing us from all unrighteousness. In other words, we “can” become streak free of sin through the shed blood of Christ. It works and the best part of it all is the price-totally free and paid for “in full” at Calvary. Try it-its warranty lasts a lifetime and beyond eternity. All you have to lose is your, “sin streaks.” Thanks be to God for this incredibly free product.
