Hebrews 11:1 tells us “Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” Jesus Christ says believe in me and be saved. (Romans 10:13) Saved from what? Eternal separation from God and all He is preparing for us in His perfect world. Jesus said after his resurrection “I go to prepare a place for you.” (John 14) Believing and trusting his declaration is called faith. Believing and trusting are things we cannot see.
What person do you know is able to make something that hasn't been created by God already? Can you make a tree? A rose bush? A croaking frog? A bird or its song? God made all the material used to make a computer. The Bible tells us God created all things. All knowledge and wisdom come from God, our Creator. Colossians 1:16 states, “For by him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible.” The human race was completely created by God and given the power of free choice. Man can choose to serve himself or God. The account of the creation of Earth and all that is in it is told in the first chapter of the first book in the Bible – Genesis. By the third chapter of Genesis, we read of the fall of man from God's good graces. And he keeps falling – by choice.
God the Father created God the Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for all human sin. Jesus did so with all the pain, sorrow and tears of crucifixion. Think of the horrors and agony he suffered so we don't need to. All we have to do is ask for forgiveness. He forgives us and gives us eternal life with Him. That is what “born again” means. It does not matter if we're rich or poor, leader or servant. Putin, Trump or Biden? The Bible says all must be born again. (John 3:3) “Believe Jesus Christ died that all may have eternal life.” (1Timothy 1:16) Don't be caught off guard.
The Bible declares no one knows the time when Christ will return to take all who believe in him to be in glory with Him. (Matthew 24: 42- 44.) Unbelief does not change the love of God. He loves each one of us. But we have to make our own choice. Accept his salvation or not. There is no such thing as Mr. Trump’s alternative fact. A fact is a fact. The fact is we must be born again to enter the eternal place of peace.
Our Lord says” I am the Way, the truth and the life.” (John 14:6). His word is truth. God sees our hearts and knows us inside out, and still loves us with all our warts. No man is our judge. God alone! He loves and cares for us. I thank you Lord!
Don’t be caught off guard!
