After nearly a year-long absence, Nokomis’ Affinity Credit Union is getting a new cash machine.
Melanie Mooney, an Advisory Services Manager, wrote to LMT, “Due to supply & demand shortage, we are now excited to let our membership know that an Affinity ATM Cash machine is now available for our Nokomis location.”
The contract was up on the Credit Union’s previous white-label machine. Mooney said the new machine “will be ding free (no charge) to all Credit Union members.” and that it is a “Great benefit to Nokomis and the surrounding area to have access to cash seven days a week, 24 hours a day.”
The Credit Union expects the machine to be available on May 3rd.
Rhonda, General Manager at the Nokomis Hotel, was preoccupied with wing night when we spoke to her. She said they noticed the use of their atm machine had increased after the Credit Union removed theirs. When asked how she thought the return of the Credit Union would affect them, she said, “I have no idea.”
