
The event was originally planned to be held outdoors at the Govan Gazebo, but due to bad weather, the cooking was done inside the Fire Hall, and patrons we able to take their food, drinks, and ice cream to the Govan Seniors centre.

Fuel good day is a day where participating Co-op gas bars donate a minimum of five cents per litre of fuel sold to a local registered charity or non-profit organization. In Govan, the Co-op grocery store donated all the food and drinks. The Last Mountain Co-op chose the Govan Fire Department, Nokomis Ag Society, and Raymore Mobility Bus to donate its proceeds.
